Deceased

Entertainingly Detestables who have died and have remained dead.

Examples of deaths include:

• Violent Death: EDs who died in a very horrific and/or shocking way such as being eaten alive, disemboweled, etc. A good example is Mukuro Ikusaba, who was brutally impaled with several spears.
• Died in Honour: EDs who accept their fate with dignity. Many of them qualify as Honorable but not always. An example is Lord Shen who simply closed his eyes before dying.
• Died in Disgrace: EDs who died with no dignity.
  • EDs who are killed by their own allies after they realise how despicable they are, such as Scar (The Lion King) who was mauled to death by the hyenas.
  • EDs who try killing the heroes despite being given mercy.
  • EDs who fail an “I’m taking you with me” attempt to kill the heroes-to kill themselves with whom they wanted to kill.
  • EDs who die begging to be spared.
  • Cowards who commit suicide to avoid punishment.
  • Arrogant EDs and/or Egotists who question themselves how they could’ve lost.
• Offscreen Death: EDs whose demises aren’t shown onscreen and are simply mentioned.
• Deactivation: AIs/robots who are deactivated.
• Sent to the afterlife: EDs who become Damned Souls and are sent to some sort of afterlife.
• Death of personality: EDs whose bodies are still alive but their personality dies.
• Erasure of existence: EDs whose souls are destroyed and are sent to the afterlife.

Undeads cannot count unless they are also killed for good.

By extension, none of the deceased villains can be a Karma Houdini if they have not died of natural causes, no matter their influence on the plot.
