Fecto Elfilis is an evil alien entity who hails from the depths of space. They are the main antagonist of the 2022 video game Kirby and the Forgotten Land.
Their Qualities[]
What Makes Them Entertaining?[]
- They have an "evil is cool" vibe due to their beautiful design and theme song.
- They are very unique compared to other Kirby villains, since they have nothing to do with Dark Matter, and also subvert people's expectations due to being related to Elfilin. In addition, they also never got Elfilin, let alone by his own will, to betray Kirby like Marx and Magolor did directly to him.
- Their fight is considered to be one of the coolest among the Kirby series, due to their stylish attack presentation and adept combat coordination.
- While this is very subjective, their enigmatic nature can be considered very interesting by some people.
- Although such deeper details are also open for discussion, the horrific visible impacts of their actions 30 years prior to the events of the story are uniquely unmatched by other villains.
What Makes Them Detestable?[]
- As easily one of the most heinous Kirby villains, Fecto does actually show clear morally indefensible intents of their own, as well as no sort of true mitigating reasons. In terms of personality, they are clarified to be sadistic and ruthless, to the point of destroying innocents.
- Especially given the extent of destruction they razed on the land, it is also implied that not everyone was able to escape the wrath of Fecto Elfilis.
- They are ridiculously spiteful and petty, demonstrated by attempting to force Kirby to witness as they terrorize Popstar because they aren’t getting their way. The fact that they did so despite no longer having need for Elfilin after reforming further proves their pettiness.
- They force the numerous Waddle Dees to make lab discovera's electricity work, as well as subjecting them to other inhumane means of imprisonment and slavery causing them to get very tried.
