Entertainingly Detestable Wiki

Behold! Such beauty! Such a pure form! Such an exquisite physique! Such stunning features! Yes, I've pretty much got it all. Though there is one teensy, tiny thing I lack... Namely, mercy. Come to me, Link. You and I, we're bound by that thread of fate. Destined to fight. So come close, Link! Meet me in battle, and the thread of fate that binds us will be soaked crimson with your blood!

His Qualities[]

What Makes Him Entertaining?[]

  • He is quite a flamboyant and hammy antagonist whose effeminate mannerisms and flowery dialogue can be quite amusing despite his bloodthirsty nature.
  • He has a great array of powers which can make him quite a threat.
  • He is remarkably intelligent and calculating, always staying one step ahead of Link throughout the game and coming up with contingency plans to ensure the Demon King's return.
  • He is a great fighter as he managed to put up a great fight with Link three times, despite losing either way.
  • Even when defeated, he succeeded in reviving Demise by feeding Zelda's soul to the Imprisoned, and laughs in triumph as he was turned back into his sword form by his master.

What Makes Him Detestable?[]

  • He is an extremely sadistic, creepy and perfectly defined Smug Snake who made many death threats to Link that he would give the boy a very gruesome fate, while prone to unrecoverable breakdowns whenever things don't go his way. Aside from that, he makes creepy and perverted moves towards Link, such as sticking his tongue out and scares him.
  • He threatened to his minions that he would kill them if they don't comply, despite the fact that Link can just take them out easily.
  • He sought to free Demise with the goal of destroying all life on the planet with his power and monstrosity, which brings dire ramifications throughout the series.
