MR. WPNZ is a major antagonist in the 2011 adult-animated Australian series SMG4. servers as a major antaognist of the Showgrounds Era and Puzzlevsion Saga.

He is the former husband of Karen Katphish, and the father of Zack, Catie, and Cory Katphish, who relentlessly stalked the former into hiding, eventually finding them to try to repair their relationship. However, his true colors reveal him to be a narcissistic, arrogant, and downright abusive person, showing no care to anyone he said he cared about.

He is voiced by Gianni Matragrano.

Traits and Features

What makes him Entertaining?

• His voice actor did a good job of voicing Mr. WPNZ's desperation.
• His design is killer, as not only does it represent his nature as an assassin, but it also has some cool configuration with all of the weapons he has in his body.
• He is a highly skilled fighter, as he worked in the same assassination company with Karen.
• His two fights with Karen are geniunely baddass
• He was able to track down Karen, with himself even stating it wasn't an easy thing to do since she hid herself so well.
• He does have some minor sympathetic moments that seemingly portray him as someone wanting to be a good dad, even if he subverts most of them by his defeat.
• His interractions with his childrens can be cute, even if he subverts his care for them by his defeat.
• Even if he's not a better parent, he nonetheless makes a good point that the kids wouldn't grow at all if Karen continued to shelter them all the time instead of letting them take risks and learning. Karen even applied this at the end when she decided to take her kids to a shooting range to help get their powers under control.

What makes him Detestable?

• The main reason he cannot be a Magnificent Baddie is because he is a downright abusive parent, as he is highly manipulative with his children when it comes to get them to participate in his assassin job, and he selfishly put them in danger and shows no concerns for their safety whatsoever, even scolding them while one of them was getting chocked to death, only surviving thanks to Karen's intervention.
• Despite remaining cool headed most of the time, he can get angry very easily when things don't go his way, most notably when his kids chose Karen over him, he goes into a blind rage and hypocriticaly accuses his childrens of being ungrateful despite the fact that he selfishly put them in danger mere minutes earlier.
  • After ranting against them, he starts a violent fight against Karen, during which he declawed her right paw before violentely throwing her around all while taunting her that she's weak and that her childrens need him more than her, right before attempting to sadistically execute her, thus, subverting any care he may have had for his ex-wife.
• After his defeat, he shows no remorse for his actions, and instead tries to have the last laugh in the situation, by claiming that he made his kids stronger and that thus, they need him, before getting coldly kicked in the face by Karen.
• Overall, he shows no care towards anyone by his defeat, seeing his kids as nothing but 'weapons', and is one of the very few SMG4 characters with next to no redeeming qualities.
