Most Detestable Traits	She tricked the Crystal Gems just so she could see the look on their faces when she betrayed them.

Navy Ruby, Ruby or Navy (to Steven), is a Homeworld Gem and an antagonist in the fourth season of Steven Universe.

She is voiced by Charlyne Yi.

Her Qualities

What Makes Her Entertaining?

• She has always come across as rather sweet and clueless in past episode appearances prior to "Room for Ruby".
• She manages to successfully trick the Crystal Gems by exaggerating her usual innocent personality, showing her rather intelligent and charismatic side. Once the Crystal Gems don't see her as a threat and take her in, she successfully steals the Roaming Eye ship and betrays them.
• Her enthusiastic and cheery disposition is entertaining to watch, despite her more sinister, evil, sadistic, manipulative, and traitorous side.
• The face that she made when betraying Steven has become a meme.
• She has a great voice and design.

What Makes Her Detestable?

• She annoyed Lapis by appearing to adjust to Earth very quickly, as it had taken Lapis a while to get adjusted to Earth.
• She merely tricked the Crystal Gems so that she could see the look on their faces when someone they trusted betrayed them, then proceeding to throw Steven, Lapis and Peridot out of the Roaming Eye and into the ocean.
• She is too sadistic to be a Magnificent Baddie due to tricking the Gems just to see their faces when she turned on them and then dropping them into the ocean, all merely for her enjoyment. This shows her to be a monster for betraying and exploiting Steven's trust.
  • Though needlessly cruel, her actions of tricking Steven, Lapis and Peridot and later tossing them out of the Roaming Eye into the ocean are somewhat understandable, because the Gems had tricked her and the rest of the Ruby Squad three times even though she never tried to hurt anyone and blasted them into space.
