Sheldon James Plankton better know simply as just Plankton is the main antagonist of the famous Nickelodeon animated series SpongeBob SquarePants. He is the owner of the Chum Bucket and constantly tries to get the Krabby Patty secret formula.
He is voiced by Doug Lawrence.

What Makes Him Entertaining?[]
- He is very incompetent and has lots of comedic moments that make him a funny character.
- He's On & Off meaning that he switches sides between good and evil.
- He generally cares about his wife Karen, their son Chip and his pet Spot.
- He is one of the most, if not THE most, iconic villains in the entire history of Nickelodeon.
- In "One Coarse Meal," he is played with a lot of sympathy meant to pity the viewer because Mr. Krabs disguised as Pearl scared him so much to the point where he wanted to commit suicide.
What Makes Him Detestable?[]
- He constantly breaks into the Krusty Krab to get the Krabby Patty secret formula.
- He kidnapped a bunch of people just so they could try his food.
- He puts many lives in danger.
- He brainwashed SpongeBob so that he can get a Krabby Patty and learn what makes it so good.
- He created Karen 2.0 to replace Karen making her work at the Krusty Krab.
- Sells disgusting food getting a lot of people sick.
- Has admitted himself that being evil is fun.
- In the first movie (which is chronologically the series finale), he brainwashes all of Bikini Bottom to become his slaves after stealing King Neptune's crown and nearly leading to the king executing Mr. Krabs when he frames him for grand larceny. With his brainwashed slaves, he transforms Bikini Bottom in his image.
