Professor Pyg, real name Lazlo Valentin, was a criminal who impersonated serial killers and behind many crimes. He appears in season 4 of Gotham where he worked under Sophia Falcone to assist her in her schemes of gaining power in the criminal underworld.

What Makes Him Entertaining?[]
- He was able to put on a dramatic act with a charming voice and personality.
- He was a capable criminal who was usually one-step ahead of Jim Gordon during his crime spree.
- Professor Pyg continues to show his dramatic acts and performance when he infiltrates and attacks wealthy individuals at a social gathering. He dances during the scene where he unveils his victims to the wealthy people at the gathering. This is accompanied by music during the meat pie tango scene.
- He has witty remarks and comments during his time on screen.
- He was a skilled actor able to change his dialect and accent to play a new villainous role.
What Makes Him Detestable?[]
- He performs gruesome acts such as implanting a bomb within a police officer's body as a booby trap.
- He murders multiple people to cook them and force wealthy people to eat meat pies. He tries to force the wealthy to commit cannabalism.
- He threatens to kill Martin, a child, when he Oswald Cobblepot and others refused to eat the Pyg's meat pie.
- He pretended to be doing some of his crimes to attack the wealthy for their greed but was only doing it because it was entertainment for him.
