Rolando (misspelled as Ronaldo in the caption) is a minor antagonist in the adult animated web series Helluva Boss, serving as the main antagonist in the episode of Season 2 "Ghost F*ckers".
He's an infestor demon from Hell that lives on Earth with a human disguise, running the One-Star Wonder Hotel where he brutally murders the guests that stay there. He comes into conflict with Blitzø and Millie once they come to find the killer of their newest client, Rita.
He was voiced by John Waters.
His Qualities[]
What Makes Him Entertaining?[]
- He has many Evil is Cool moments such as having an overall badass aura, being intimidating, intelligent and strategic
- His design is extremely cool, memorable, badass and unique.
- John Waters' performance is great and fits his character extremely well.
- While other Envians (such as Chazwick Thurman) have presence in-story, he is unique for being the only infestor demon shown on screen.
- He has very cool powers, including advanced possession, mind control, ability to vividly assess minds, phantom physiology, and shape-shifting at will.
- Another bonus is that as mentioned being the only shown infestor, some of them are exclusive to him by presence.
- Rolando's creative mode of villainy for example included a theatre scape for big-screen projection.
- He's one of the darkest Hellaverse villains that he even challenges Crimson Knolastname and Adam (Hellaverse) when it comes to game changing.
- He is an incredible fighter, as he was easily able to beat up both Blitzo and Millie, and proved to be one of the toughest singular opponents they ever faced in direct combat.
- Though it was to emphasize his utter cruelty, he was not wrong in some of the points he made about Blitzo's negative personality traits, which even resulted in character development for him.
- He has a comedic defeat, putting up his hands with a confused look at how throwing him (a fish demon) in the water would be expected to have any effect.
- He's overall the most memorable One-Shot villain next to Chazwick Thurman in not just Helluva Boss but the whole Hellaverse.
What Makes Him Detestable?[]
- He's very mean-spirited, cruel and sadistic in overall nature.
- He made Blitzo Buckzo face his traumas forcefully and made him relive all the times Millie almost died just to torment him.
- Such action was so emphatic to the point Blitzo was still reeling from Rolando's torture in the aftermath, spelling out the profound effect it had on him.
- He yelled slurs at Millie when they were fighting, showing that he's prejudiced against imps much like Andrealphus.
- He killed many humans merely for enjoyment.
- His death was well deserved for his vile actions.
