Slade is a criminal mastermind and one of the main antagonists of the Teen Titans 2003 television series. He is one of the Titans' arch-nemesis and an enigmatic criminal who wanted control and power.

What Makes Him Entertaining?[]
- He has a cool and calm demeanor throughout the show and rarely rases his voice.
- He is a very intelligent criminal mastermind that is able to create plots and scenarios to test the titans for his own interests.
- Slade is a capable fighter and martial artist that is able to fight against super-powered enemies without backing down.
- He is very skilled at using his words either as weapons to bring down his enemies or manipulate others such as how he was able to manipulate both Robin and Terra.
- He has a deep soft-spoken velvety voice that encapsulates his villainous demeanor. He speaks with confidence and charisma to the point that he is able to persuade and manipulate others like Terra.
- He teams up with Robin and as a duo is able to take down Trigon's minions successfully.
- Slade is shown to be completely fearless of Trigon as he attempts to defeat him by himself.
What Makes Him Detestable?[]
- He implanted chips into Robin's friends to try to force the latter to work for him by threatening their lives.
- Slade preyed on Terra. He used her insecurity of not mastering her powers against her and used her as pawn to try and kill her former friends.
- Slade gave Terra a severe beatdown because she did not listen to him when the latter wanted her to fight the titans. He ignored the fact that the Titans was too much for her to handle and decided to viciously punish her for something out of her control.
- Slade manipulated Terra's body and almost had her kill Beast Boy.
- When he returns as a servant for Trigon, Slade psychologically abused Raven to the point that he broke her mind at her most vulnerable moment.
- He is hated by nearly every character he encountered in the show for the amount of pain and suffering he inflicted.
