Thrax is the main antagonist of Warner Bros.' 2001 live-action/animated hybrid film Osmosis Jones.
He was an extremely virulent and contagious virus, as well as a disturbingly vicious murderer, who strove to be remembered as the deadliest virus ever known. However, upon entering the body of Frank DeTorre, his plan was foiled by his arch-nemesis Osmosis Jones, with the aid of Drix.
He was voiced by Laurence Fishburne.
What Makes Him Entertaining[]
- He was given an incredibly smooth yet sinister performance by Laurence Fishburne.
- He has a very "evil is cool" vibe, with an intimidating design and brutal methods of killing.
- He is impressively violent for a children's film. In his introduction scene he disintegrates a cell while said cell screams in horror.
- He had a well-thought-out plan to heat up Frank's body by manipulating his hypothalamus.
- He was smart enough to take out a germ crime boss so that no one could kill Frank first.
What Makes Him Detestable[]
- He is overall far too brutal and sadistic to be an MB.
- He murdered six characters on-screen and trillions, if not quadrillions, off-screen.
- His plan to kill Frank was only so that he could earn fame in the medical world.
- He assembled a group of germs to help him in his plans.
- He took Leah hostage.
- He stole a car.
- After leaving Frank's body, he planned to kill Frank's daughter Shane.
