Susan "Susie" Campbell, better known as Alice Angel or by her fan nickname Twisted Alice, is the secondary antagonist of the Bendy franchise. She was the original voice actress of Alice Angel before being forcibly transformed into the very being she played as part of Joey Drew's experiment to use the Ink Machine to bring his cartoons back to life. Her main goal now is to become as beautiful as possible using the insides of numerous ink creatures to fix herself and maintain her new form forever, describing her old form as a "shapeless slug".
Her Qualities[]
What Makes Her Entertaining?[]
- She's incredibly sympathetic. As when she was a human, she was a down on her luck voice actress who was to have her role as Alice Angel be filled by another actress, tricked by Joey Drew into thinking she would get a second chance when he instead transformed her into an ink creature that he would continue to deceive with false promises before abandoning her for good.
- While she's mostly known for being egotistical, this comes from her inferiority complex and obsession with being beautiful in order to gain the love of anyone, which demonstrates her desperation for unconditional love like the one Joey had deceived her into thinking he had for her.
- Her death in Bendy and the Dark Revival was played massively for sympathy, where Allison holds her in her arms after stabbing her, and, upon seeing the latter, Alice herself realizes she has "her" face and calls her beautiful, with Allison saying this was their face told Alice that she was always beautiful during her final moments.
- She genuinely did love Sammy Lawrence, as she refers to him as a handsome man, is shown reminiscing of the time he told her Alice might become as popular as Bendy fondly, and an audio recording reveals she became jealous when she saw him talking with Allison Pendle, showing she still cares for the same man.
- Each of her first appearances in games is always unique rather than simply terrifying, she comes with jumpscares (especially in style in the first game) or causes the plot twists.
- Futher more, in each timeline she appeared, she starts with jumpscare and ends with jumpscare.
- She always speaks in very mannered ways through each game with teases each protagonist in any possible way she can.
- Overall, she was the most competent and intelligent in Bendy and the Ink Machine to the point she easily takes over the main antagonist rule from the Ink Demon himself and only has failed in Bendy and the Dark Revival due to low onscreen appearance, but even then she does not disappoint in playing the villain as of her own creative yet cunning tricks along with with her boss fights.
What Makes Her Detestable?[]
- She forced Henry to do several tasks for her, many of which could end with him dying, even threatening to kill him herself if he were to fail her. One of which involving Henry destroying the Bendy cutouts standing out for how pointless it truly was for her to make him do this.
- Forcibly converting Boris into Brute Boris and sending him to kill Henry.
- Kidnapping Audrey Drew and six Lost Ones and forcing the former to play a sadistic riddles game which involved her being electrocuted whenever she got the answer wrong while the Lost Ones got electrocuted whenever they correctly answered a question in Bendy and the Dark Revival. And once Audrey won, she sent the Lost Ones after her (with it even being implied that she had been torturing them all along into acting as her servants). It's even indicated that she was willing to eat Audrey in an attempt to become more beautiful.
